In this lot is a highly collectable 1940's Roseville Pottery Company vase. The Roseville Pottery Company was an American art pottery manufacturer in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was one of three major art potteries located in Ohio around the turn of the 20th century. Though the company originally made simple household pieces, the Arts and Crafts–inspired designs proved popular, and Roseville pieces are now sought after by collectors. This vase is called "Bittersweet" after the branch of bittersweet vine, leaves and berries. the Vase is 6 1/2' tall, 3" across the opening and 3 1/2' across the base. This vase is in very good condition.
