Featured in this lot is this Roy Robinson stainless steel discoidal rowel spurs circa 1970's. The spurs show a wonderfully and professionally crafted stainless stell construction that feature a swivel brass spur strap button and a single piece design to the spurs with a unique discoidal spur rowel. The spurs are marked 'ROY' for Roy Robinson on the tip of teh spur frame. Roy Robinson was a manufacturer of bits, spurs, and saddle hardware. The name of the company was originally Roy Bits & Spurs than later became The Roy Company. He was very respected in the rodeo industry until the company was closed, he later died in 2014. The condition of this pair of spurs is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this pair of spurs are 1 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 3 7/8".
