Featured in this lot we have a Royal Typewriter model O portable writer originating from 1936. The Royal Typewriter Company was founded in 1904 in Brooklyn New York. The Model O portable with touch control typewriter was manufactured in 1936, the writer comes with a portable carry case. The back of the piece is marked "Royal - Royal Typewriter co. inc., New York - Made in United States of America. - Protected by American and Foreign Patents." and has the serial number "0 - 488387". The writer is in very good condition for its age, it is in working order. The portable case measures 12 3/4" wide by 12" long by 6" tall.
