Very high quality Ruby .38 Special, 4” barrel mid-size six shot double action revolver, serial number 596065. Made from 1955-1970, the Ruby was basically a Spanish Smith & Wesson Military and Police model used throughout Spain and imported into the United States. This blued service revolver features a case colored target hammer, target trigger, and ramped front sight.. It has sharply diamond checkered walnut grips with the Ruby medallion in each. It has Spanish markings on each side of the barrel along with “.38 SPECIAL CTG.” stamping. The right side of the frame has the circular “RUBY Extra Made in Spain” logo. It also has a serrated back strap and front strap. The action is extremely tight with little cylinder movement or end shake. The springs are strong and the bore is excellent. This example retains nearly all of the original blue including on the front face of the cylinder which indicates that this revolver was rarely if ever shot. The revolver weighs 1lb 12oz. Serial Number: 596065. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
