Included in this lot is a Sturm, Ruger & Co. New Model Blackhawk .44 Magnum “The Centennial State” Colorado commemorative revolver. This gorgeous gilded revolver is marked on the left of the round 7 ½” barrel and features and engraved filigree design. The filigree design is repeated throughout this stunning revolver. The top of the action is engraved “1 of 10”. The right of the barrel within the filigree is engraved “Lake County”. The cylinder which is chambered for the powerful .44 Magnum cartridge showcases an engraved Colorado and American flag on either side. The frame of the revolver is stamped reading “Ruger .44 Magnum Cal. New Model Blackhawk”. The black medallion Ruger grips feature a fancy engraving reading “Colorado The Centennial State”, while the back strap is engraved “A Free People Ought to be Armed” with an eagle motif towards the top. This mint revolver comes with a green felt lined leather case as well as the original factory Ruger gray plastic case. The factory hard case contains the original owners manual and unopened lock.
