For your consideration is a 1917 edition of "Running Eagle: The Warrior Girl" by James Willard Schultz. This book was published by Stockman-Farmer Publishing Company and The Riverside Press Cambridge out of Boston and New York. J. W. Schultz (1859–1947) was an author, explorer, and historian known for his historical writings of the Blackfoot Indians in the late 1800s, when he lived among them as a fur trader. He made many future writings about the Blackfeet that he would produce over the next thirty years. Schultz lived in Browning, Montana. There are numerous illustrations throughout the book by George Varian. It is in overall good condition and has a tight binding. The book has a red linen cover with black print and an Indian Brave portrait on the cover, as well as a clear dust cover. The book measures 8 1/8" tall by 5 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" deep.
