Featured in this lot is this original S. Newhouse Number 4 Wolf Trap from circa 1895-1911. The trap shows a stamped pan that reads, "S. Newhouse Oneida Community N.Y. No 4". These markings date the trap to circa 1895-1911. The trap shows the original forged iron link tree chain. The condition of this wolf trap is good with a heavy oxidation and a slight patina adorning the trap but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this rap is 4 1/2" x 19" x 5 3/4" and shows 7" springs.
