For your consideration is this S&W Schofield 2nd model revolver leather holster. This is a OWB holster meant to set on ones waist and shows a secure flap that is held closed by leather and brass peg system of security. The holster is tooled around the border of the holster just before the sewn seam; and a belt strap held to the holster by a rivet. The leather shows a dark brown coloration and has the imprint from the revolver it houses. The holster is marked 'V.L. & A. Chicago' on the front flap and marked ' G 1333 71/2' on the back to the right of the belt strap. The condition of this holster is good with wear marks and scratches consistent with use and age; there is a patina shown on the back of the brass peg on the back of the holster. The measurements of this holster is 15 1/2" x 6" x 2 1/4".
