For your consideration is this 1970s, Safariland Model 43 Outfitter single action revolver holster. Safariland, founded by Neale Perkins in his garage in California in 1964, transformed holster technology by emphasizing safety, weapon retention, and premium materials for law enforcement. The firm became a staple in the police, military, and competitive shooting markets by pioneering duty gear, most notably by developing the first Level III RetentionTM holster and popularizing duty-rated non-leather materials. This holster is in very nice condition, with wear consistent with age and normal use, rich patina noted throughout. Measures 4.25"W x 10"L x 2"D, weight is 6oz.
