Featured in this lot is a Salish Native American, hand carved bear head pipe and antler display stand. The pipe head is made from brown soapstone and is carved in the shape of a bear head, with the pipe bowl on the neck. The pipe stem displays a leather wrapped handle with geometric designs in the bark and burned into the wood. The stem is decorated with three fur sections and leather tassels with brown and blue beads an dyed feathers. The stand displays wood and antler construction with soft fur accents. The pipe originates from Trego, Montana and shows good condition, overall. The pipe measures 24" long, with the bowl measuring 1 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" tall; the stand measures 14" long by 8 1/2" tall.
