This is an original etching of El Cid by Salvador Dali with original Collectors Guild Certificate of Authentication from the Societe de Verification de la Nouvell Gravure International of New York and Paris. Titled El Cid the original etching depicting a knight in armor on horseback. The piece is from the 1960’s. The original certificate that accompanies the piece is marked, “EL CID by Salvador Dali / In the subject of El Cid, Salvador Dali has captured the nobility and grandeur of this legendary character. This original etching from his Spanish Immortals series is a classic example of masterly technique. As the leading exponent of surrealism this controversial artist is in every major collection and museum in the world. There is no doubt that Savador Dali will be hailed as one of the major art influences of the 20th century. / AUTHENTICATION Société de Verifaction de la Nouvell Gravure Interationale of New York and Paris certifies and warrants that this is an original etching by Salvador Dali.
