Featured in this lot is this Sandia Clovis New Mexico point aged from The Transitional Paleo Period and from 10,500 - 9,500 B.P. The point shows a cluster design with base flute and a serrated edge; the point is medium in size without a flattened cross section, which makes this design fairly unique. The edge is almost parallel with a flat base and an excurvate shape leading to the stem. The point is knapped from a pink light bluish coloration of chert material. The condition of this cluster point is good, with no obvious sings of damage. The measurements of this point are 3" x 1" x 1/4".
