For your consideration is this Santa Clara, "Black on Black" pottery, circa 1988. There are three pots in this collection, showing classic "Black on Black” design and construction to the pots. The first pot shows the largest construction and a lovely textured upper lip to the pot with the artist’s signature on the bottom, “Santanta Serazu”. The next pot shows the second largest construction with a lovely tooled surface to the face of the pot and the artist’s signature on the bottom of the pot, “Linda Tafoya- Oyenque”; this pot is dated from 1988. The last is the smallest in this collection and shows a ribbed design to the outside of the pot; the artist’s signature is shown on the bottom of the pot, “Leona Baca”. The condition of these small olla pots is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of these Santa Clara pots range from 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" to 2" x 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".
