Featured in this lot are Santa Clara Pueblo Acoma pottery figurines done by Santa Clara artists Margaret & Luther Gutierrez and Isleta Pueblo artist Elizabeth Olguin in the late 20th century. The first three in this lot are done by Margaret & Luther Gutierrez, a brother and sister team, son and daughter of Lela and Van Gutierrez. Both learned the traditional Santa Clara ways from their parents and began producing pottery together in the 1960s. The figures show a raccoon effigy, a dog effigy and a human like effigy. All show a happy expression on their faces and are painted with geometric designs of black, red and white colors. They are signed on the bottom reading, "Margaret / Luther" in black paint. The fourth piece is done by Elizabeth Olguin and shows a miniature pottery bowl piece. It has a base white color and shows painted flower designs of light brown and black colors. The bottom is signed reading, "Eliz. Olguin / Islata / N. Max.". The pieces show good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage noted. They measure from 2 1/4" L x 1 3/8" W x 1 5/8" H to 1 3/8" L x 1 3/8" W x 1 3/4" H. They have a collective weight of 95.3 grams.
