Featured in this lot is this Santee Sioux fully beaded sash belt, circa 1920's. The sash features a fully beaded sash with period correct glass trade seed beads in geometric patterns of a triple layer circle and staggered bands. The sash shows buffalo Indian tanned hide construction with Indian traded cloth sewn on the back of the hide sash. The colors of the glass trade beads include medium red, greasy yellow, transparent light yellow, and Cheyenne pink. The condition of this fully beaded belt is good, with wear to the backside of the belt. The measurements of this belt are 34 1/2" x 2".
