Featured in this lot is this Santo Domingo Pueblo P & R Rosetta inlay necklace. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver, Jet, Cripple Creek Turquoise, Mother of Pearl, Opal, Carico Lake Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli, and Red Branch Coral; with the shape of a butterfly inlaid into the shoulder pendants on a jet slab backing with discoidal beads of jet on a double strand with a wire core that is ended in sterling silver aglets. P & R Rosetta is associated with Santo Domingo Pueblo (also known as Kewa Pueblo), known for their traditional Native American jewelry, particularly in mosaic inlay designs and turquoise work. Artists from this region often use materials such as turquoise, jet, shell, and coral to create intricate and colorful patterns in their jewelry, reflecting centuries-old craftsmanship. The condition of this Santo Domingo Pueblo necklace is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this necklace from clasp to clasp is 31 1/2".
