For your consideration is this Santo Domingo Pueblo P & R Rosetta inlay necklace. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver, Jet, Cripple Creek Turquoise, Mother of Pearl, Carico and red spiny oyster; with the shape of a dragonfly inlaid into the shoulder pendant on a jet slab. The strands are made from red spiny oyster and some pieces of Cripple Creek turquoise in disc shapes. P & R Rosetta is associated with Santo Domingo Pueblo (also known as Kewa Pueblo), known for their traditional Native American jewelry, particularly in mosaic inlay designs and turquoise work. Artists from this region often use materials such as turquoise, jet, shell, and coral to create intricate and colorful patterns in their jewelry, reflecting centuries-old craftsmanship. The condition of this Santo Domingo Pueblo necklace is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The pendant measures 3 1/8" L x 1 5/8" W, while the necklace measures 28 3/4" L from clasp to clasp. It has a total weight of 144.6 grams.
