Featured in this lot is this sapphire VS2 diamond and 14k white gold tennis bracelet with AIG paperwork. The bracelet features an electronically tested 14k white gold tennis bracelet design that shows a concealed clasp with twin safeties and a bright polish finish and shows a 'Oscar Friedman' hallmark with a '14k' gld stamp next to the hallmark. The bracelet features a succession of a total of 19 prong set oval cut natural blue sapphires that shows a slightly included clarity and is considered type II with medium dark and very slightly grayish blue coloration with a good cut grade and transmits light with no distortion and is transparent with naturally occurring internal and external characteristics are present and a total weight of 17.53 carats. The gemstones are profusely decoration with halo decoration that shows a total of 266 prong set round brilliant cut diamonds that shows a clarity of VS2 - SI2 and a coloration of F-H and a total weight of 2.86 carats. Tennis bracelets and necklaces got their unusual name from an incident involving the U.S. professional tennis player, Chris Evert, during a tennis match in the 1980's. The piece comes complete with AIG(American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000721259041) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $29,880.00.
