Offered in this lot we have a set of two antler handle knives with leather sheathes. The first of the knives shows a thin blade of polished steel with a brass guard. The grip is made with a section of antler with leather on each end and a brass plate on the back. The sheath is constructed out of a single piece of red leather with leaves and acorns pressed into the side and threaded with white leather. The second knife shows a steel blade with a curved antler handle. The grip is made of antler with a brass and wood section separating the antler and blade, the back of the pommel shows a leather strap and a housing for a stone. The sheath is a piece of folded leather with a thread lacing. The knives show good condition overall with some signs of wear on the sheathes and the knives. The first knife measures 9" long with a 4 3/4" blade and the second knife measures 10 3/4" long overall with a 5" blade.
