For your consideration is a set of three 66' leather bound measuring tapes. The first is a John Rabone & Sons leather and brass measuring tape with 66 feet of Rabone’s metallic wire tape. It is marked "John Rabone & Sons, Birmingham, England" on the leather, and "66FT No.4181" on the brass winding handle. It has a light brown leather cover and brass winding handle. The leather shows some cracking and chips with age and use. The second tape to this set is a dark leather and brass tape with "Chesterman Sheffield, England" on the leather and "66FT" on the brass. There is also an "RS" scratched on the brass as a possible previous owner's mark. It has a woven clothe ribbon. The stitching binding the leather case has started to detach although the leather itself only shows a few signs of scratching and cracks. The third is a brown leather and brass tape with "Chesterman Sheffield, England" on the leather and "66FT" on the brass. It has a metallic woven clothe ribbon. All three leather tape cases are in good condition with a few signs of age and use. The rewind mechanisms are in full function. The first tape measures approximately 4 1/'2 in diameter. The second measures 5" in diameter. The third tape measures 5 1/4".
