The lot features a wonderful fully top beaded moccasins from the Shoshone Native American Indians and dating to circa 1950's. The set shows an Indian tanned hide construction with Great American Bison Buffalo parfleche rawhide soles. The tops of the moccasins show all glass trade seed beads in a typical geometric pattern showing chalk white, cobalt, red, light and light blue. The soles of the moccasins show wear and the outline of a foot, as they had been used, but overall the set is in good condition with little to no bead loss.
