Featured in this lot is this pair of Shoveler decoys by Patrick Vincenti. The decoys feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden and life like painted construction that shows weights on the bottom of both decoys. Patrick Vincenti is a carver out of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Vincenti's decoys are hand crafted in the Chesapeake Bay style. He became a full time decoy maker in 1986. His work has been displayed at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. and their decoys have been purchased and sold at many Ducks Unlimited functions across the United States. This pair of Shoveler decoys is a wonderful display of the craftsmanship by Vincenti. The condition of this pair of decoys is well preserved with very slight wear to the paint job but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this pair of decoys is 7 1/2" x 17" x 6" and 7 3/4" x 17" x 5 1/2". The collective weight of this pair of decoys 5lb 12oz.
