Featured in this lot we have a Hopi Native American signed blue and white Kachina hunter. The kachinas were not used as toys, but rather were hung from walls, or stood on a surface, to provide spiritual protection or provide luck for the family. This particular Kachina, is sculpted out of wood, and is adorned with blue dyed leather, white feathers, and supple white fur. The Kachina is shown holding a bow and arrow and displays hand painted designs. The piece is marked across the bottom of the base reading "Warrior 617.152" with an illegible signature. The doll shows good condition overall with some wear across the piece. It measures 12" tall by 6 1/2" wide.
