Featured in this lot we have a signed Denver, Colorado photo of Montie Montana Jr originating from 1964. Montie Montana (1910-1998) was a rodeo trick rider and roper, actor, stunt man, and cowboy. He was known for his over 60 appearances in the Tournament of Roses Parade. Montana would commonly visit kids in schools to perform tricks and talks with his horse Rex. The photo depicts Montana, spinning his lasso as he rides Rex on the Denver rodeo. The piece is marked in the upper left hand corner and is addressed to Bill Cody and signed by Monty Montana. The piece is marked in the bottom right hand corner reading "1964 Monty Montana Jr. Denver, Col.". The photo is set into a grey wooden frame with a white border around the photo. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 27 1/4" wide by 23 1/4" tall with the photo measuring 23 3/4" wide by 19 3/4" tall.
