For your consideration is a signed Navajo Native American spiny oyster & chip turquoise concho belt. This large concho belt features varying inlaid conchos made from spiny oysters, chip turquoise, tortoise shell and abalone shell on sterling silver. Seven of the conchos use the oyster shell as the template for the inlay while the remaining seven use a shadow box sterling silver design. These conchos were expertly inlaid by renowned Navajo artist Rose Castillo. The larger shell conchos measure 3 1/4" x 3" while the smaller shadow box conchos measure 2 3/8" x 2".
