Featured in this lot is this original ink and watercolor painting from Montana artist Raydan 'Standing Bear' made in 1977. The piece shows two cowboys on horse back roping a large bull. Both cowboys are wearing cowboy hats, vests and button-up shirts as they rope the bull from its front and hind legs. The bull is in a fury as he tries to escape his captors. He bears a brand on his right side reading, "WJ". The piece is signed in the lower right hand corner reading, "Raydan S. Bear 77". The artwork is triple matted, set behind glass and sits in a large nice frame. The artwork measures 6 1/2" L x 10" W. The entire piece measures 17 3/4" L x 21" W.
