This lot offers a modern Sinclair H-C Gasoline advertising sign. In 1926 Sinclair introduced H-C Gasoline, the industry's first original high-octane premium gasoline for motorcars. The 72-octane auto fuel, developed at its Houston refinery, was better than anything on the market. H-C stood for "Houston Concentrate", though the advertising men called it "High Compression". This sign is made of tin, with applied vinyl graphics. The sign is in good condition. The sign measures 35 3/8" across.
