The lot features a nice, full size Indian tanned buckskin hide beaded pipe bag from the Sioux Native American Indians from the 20th Century. The piece has a long slender design with glass trade seed beadwork. The beadwork covers the bag opening, down the right edge and along the bottom square section of the bag, all on one side. Below the beadwork is Indian tanned hide fringe with rolled tin jingle cones. The back has the Indian hide ties attached. The beadwork shows a greasy white background with cobalt, greasy yellow, and red-white heart designs. The bag has the pattern and early beadwork colors of other Indian Reservation period examples, but the exact age is unknown. Measures overall 34" L by 5.75" W.
