The lot features a beaded baby cradle board and cover from the Sioux Native American Indians dating to the early to mid 20th Century. The piece is comprised of trade thread sewn canvas clothe, Indian hide buckskin, red stroud clothe and a clothe covered plank wood bottom board. The top bonnet cover and down each sides shows geometric beadwork done with glass trade seed beads with a light blue background and pattern in yellow, orange, red, white and blue. The piece overall is in good condition and displays beautifully and is a nice size example measuring 24 inches long by 10 inches wide by 9 inches high when laid flat on a table. Provenance: From the ex-collection of Ted and Lilly Jarvis of Wyoming and Tom Hardy of Indianapolis, Indiana. Cradle Board / Cradleboard / Papoose.
