For your bidding pleasure is this Sioux Beaded Knife Sheath Early 1900s. This sheath is of an early glass trade seed bead style of decoration with original leather comprising the foundation for the sheath. The bead structure has four well crafted horizontal rows of seed beads and five vertical rows of seed beads. Coloration includes blues and whites, with red and green adornments in the design. The leather is tasseled along the sharp edge side of the sheath and about a third of the way down separating the horizontal beadwork from the vertical beadwork with brass tubes clenched on every other tassel. The measurements of this sheath are 9" x 6 1/2".
