The lot features a Sioux Native American Indian adze hide scrapper dating to the late 19th early 20th Centuries. The piece shows a Buffalo Great American Bison bone construction with Indian tanned hide wrapped end and hide tied gun barrel forged iron hide scrapper. The piece shows a nice patina and would have been used to clean off the Buffalo, Deer and Elk hides used by the Sioux people for tipi's, clothing and other items.
