This is a pair of Sioux Native American Indian beaded moccasins from the early to mid 1900's. The moccasins show the rare Beaded Split Tongue design with traditional geometric beadwork. The beadwork is done with glass seed trade beads in colors such as Chalk White, Corn Yellow, Medium Blue and Red. In addition, the moccasins have a reinforced top edge and parfleche soles. The Sioux moccasins are in good condition. They measure 3.75" x 10.25".
