Featured in this lot is this Smith Etley cluster point aged from the Middle Archaic Period and from 7,000 - 4,000 B.P. The point features a very large triangular basal notch point with a flattened cross section. The blade is excurvate in shape and also excurvate at the tip with the sides symmetrically angled and the base is slightly convex. The point was napped from a pinkish cream chert material. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this point are 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 3/8".
