This is a wonderfully rare original Smith & Wesson Model of 1903 Hand Ejector 5th Change revolver with a 4 1/4 inch round barrel and chambered in .32 S&W Long caliber. The revolver shows the original factory nickel finish in 90% condition with mother of pearl grips. The pistol also shows a case hardened and hand stippled target hammer with matched case hardened trigger and blue finish ejector rod front button. The firearm is marked on the top of the barrel with the correct three line address of, "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS USA / PAT'D MARCH 27 94. AUG. 4 96 DEC. 22 96 / OCT. 8 01. DEC. 17 01. FEB. 6 06. SEPT. 14 09." (being flanked on either side by an elongated iron cross) along with being marked on the left side of the frame with the correct Trade Mark S&W hallmark or logo and at the end of the grip with the serial number of, "171641". The cylinder is marked "171641" as it is serial number matching. The inside of the frame and cylinder swing out arm are marked with the assembly number of "1447" each. This is truly a rare high condition revolver that functions without flaw and displays wonderfully. Right grip shows a hairline crack that is not lose. Curio & Relic Firearm.
