Featured in this lot we have a Smith & Wesson Military & Police model revolver chambered in .38 caliber. The Revolver was manufactured in 1905 by Smith & Wesson. The pistol displays a 2 3/8" long round barrel, six shot cylinder, hardwood grips, and fixed sights. Mechanically the revolver shows good timing and a crisp trigger. The hard wood grips display a checkered design with a S&W medallion at the top of the grips. The frame is marked with Smith & Wesson trade mark medallion with "MADE IN U.S.A." and British proof marks. The barrel is marked on the underside with overlapping marks of .38 Special and .38 CAL along with others. The revolver shows good condition overall with wear due to age and use. The revolver weighs 1lb 10oz. Serial Number: 862642. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
