Featured in this lot we have a Smith and Wesson Model No. 1, Second issue spur trigger revolver chambered in .22 rim fire. This Second issue displays a 3 1/8" long octagonal barrel, walnut grips, 7 shot cylinder, spur trigger, and blue'd finish. The top barrel ridge is marked "SMITH & WESSON. SPRINGFIELD. MASS". The cylinder is marked "PATENTED APRIL 3. 1855, JULY 5. 1859. & DEC 18. 1863.". The revolver displays a blue'd finish across the frame with some of the bronze construction showing at the edged. The piece shows good mechanical condition with the cylinder not locking properly. The pistol shows good condition overall with wear due to age and use. The piece weighs 10oz. Serial Number: 50773. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
