Provided for your consideration in this lot is a Smith & Wesson Model 91 revolver, chambered for .38 Smith & Wesson Caliber. The revolver utilizes a top break action, 6" solid rib barrel, six shot cylinder, and a nickel finish. The revolver is marked in numerous places, reading; "SMITH & WESSON - MODEL OF 91 - SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A." next to "PAT'D APR. 20.75.FEB - 20&DEC.18.77. MAY11.80" all on the top of the barrel, and showing the serial number on the bottom of the top brake, and on the back of the cylinder. The revolver shows good condition overall, with a natural patina on the nickel finish. The revolver functions well, and has a tight cylinder lock up, though the hammer has a broken thumb pad. As well, the grips appear to be third party. The revolver qualifies as a Curio & Relic Hand Gun, and REQUIRES FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check. Serial Number: 11329.
