Featured in this lot is this snapping turtle and deer foot walking stick and cane circa 1930 to 1950's. The pair of walking sticks or canes is wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden and taxidermy construction the first shows a snapping turtle foot mounted on a wooden walking stick with bands of black and white decoration and shows a hide and rabbit fur adornment towards the top. The second cane or walking stick is a deer foot mounted stick with a boiled leather wrap securing the deer foot to the walking sticks. The condition of these two walking sticks is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage with the snapping turtle foot walking stick showing more age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of these walking sticks is 40" x 1 5/8" x 1 1/2" and 35 1/2" x 5 3/4" x 1 1/4". The collective weight of these walking sticks is 1lb 6oz.
