Featured in this lot is this South African leadwood, hand carved hippopotamus collection. There are four hippos in this collection, showing a variety of shades of leadwood construction. Two of the hippos are in an action scene, cocking their heads to the left and right. The condition of these hand-carved hippopotamuses is good, with a natural crack to the top of the hippo. The measurements of these hippopotamus are 2 1/4" x 4" x 2" to 2 1/4" x 5 1/2" x 2".
