For your consideration is this beautifully crafted Southern Plains Native American, mountain lion claw and bone necklace from the 1970s. This necklace is set on twine and is tied together with a rawhide strip. It features cylindrical carved and polished bone beads, with the bottom five bone beads showing an attached mountain lion claw. Set in between the bone beads are black cylindrical and spherical beads. The necklace shows sharp, mountain lion claws in good condition and greatly polished bone beads. It shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage noted. The mountain lion claws measure 7/8" L x 1 1/8" W, while the bone beads measure 7/8" L x 1/2" W. The necklace measures 13 3/8" L and weighs 56.7 grams. It comes in its original burlap bag.
