The lot features a Southern Plains beaded hide strike-a-lite bag with striker, flint and starter from the late 20th Century. The bag shows a brain-tanned hide with glass trade seed beads in a typical Southern Plains geometric pattern showing an hourglass and cross symbols. The bag shows hand-rolled jingle dangle cones at the bottom along with several old trade beads at the long fringes including a large pony wound glass red white heart, cobalt, Cheyenne pink wound glass pony beads and several Venetian chevron beads (and a brass bead). The top ties / fringes show six Venetian multi-layer chevron beads. The flap is also beaded and has an old rusted metal button. The bag includes a forged iron striker, knapped flint and some starter. The bag itself measures overall 18"L with top strap and fringes by 3.25"W.
