Featured in this lot is this Spanish-American War era cavalry belt and "Bunting Stars" streamer. Provenance: From Garth's Civil War Museum. The cavalry belt and streamer are wonderfully and professionally crafted circa 19th century, around 1870's, and shows a leather construction with brass buckle that shows the eagle with a large laurel in its claws. The flag shows the "Bunting Stars" design and is attributed to a cavalry unit as a streamer for battle. The condition collection of Spanish-American War Era memorabilia is well preserved with the streamer or flad showing wear consistent with its age and the belt showing a patina to the leather and the brass buckle also consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this belt is 37 1/2" and the streamer measures 62" x 21 1/2". The collective weight of this collection is 6oz.
