Featured in this lot is this Speer ordinance caliber "Big Horn Sheep" advertisement circa 1989. The advertisement shows rounds that range from .22 CAL to .458 CAL and states: Speer - Grand Slam and is signed by the artist in the left hand bottom corner of the artwork. The frame is constructed from painted pine wood and the artwork shows a depiction of a Big Horn Sheep in a high place in the mountains. Speer’s reputation for making the world's finest component bullets and loaded ammunition goes all the way back to 1943. That’s when Vernon Speer started building bullets because re loaders couldn't get the components they needed from ammo companies during World War II. The condition of this this ordinance advertisement is fair with the following missing round: .32, 9mm, 45 CAL; but otherwise in fair overall condition. The measurements of this advertisement is 15 1/2" x 27 1/2" and the display measurements are 11 1/2" x 23 3/8".
