The lot features a medium small pipe axe that is in the size of a women's "squaw" belt axe. The head has a spontoon kite diamond like shape with ground double edge blade and ridge down the center of both sides. The mid section of the blade shows two "U" shaped lobes which are drilled. This has a tear drop eye hole / eyelet, molded chevron and slender tall bowl. The wood handle shows ten solid brass square shank trade tacks and at the end a brass cylinder smoking tip, similar to a small bullet shell casing. There is a small gasket in the eye and the pipe draws. Measures overall 14-inches long and the head is 5-inches long by 1 3/8-inches at its widest.
