Featured in this lot is this St. Charles corner point aged from the Early Archaic Glacial Period to Mille Holocene Culture and from 10,000 - 8,000 B.P. The point is a medium corner notched point with an elliptical to rhomboid cross section that shows a semi serrated edge with and excurvate frame and pair of barbed shoulders that are barbed the notches are fairly deep and shows a expanding stem and is convex. The point is knapped from a grey blue flint material. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this point is 2 5/8" x 1 5/8" x 1/4".
