Featured in this lot is this stag horn handle M1 bayonet fighting knife, c. 1940's. The knife shows a shop-made full tang fighting knife, including a M1 bayonet, identified by the blood flute, and a stag horn handle with lovely patina adorning this addition. The condition of this knife is good and working, with wear and patina consistent with the age of the knife. The measurements of this knife in its sheath are 2 3/4" x 11 5/8" and the blade length is 6 3/8".
