For your bidding pleasure is this Stanley 45 Combination Plow Plane. This is Stanley's most famous and popular combination plane. A combination plane is one that can be fitted with different irons, or cutters, as Stanley called them, and be adjusted for a particular cut. The basic #45 can groove, rabbet, dado, match (tongue and groove), bead (edge and center), slit, and cut sash. This plow plane is in fair condition with some rust and needs some attention paid to lubricating the pins and pieces. This Stanley box is filled with extra blades and irons used to fit to make different kind of cuts. The measurements of the plane are 5 1/2" x 10" with maximum width of adjustable iron 4".
