Offered in this lot is a Starr Model 1858 Double Action .44 Percussion Army Revolver. This Model 1858 Double Action features a 6" blue'd finished round barrel with dovetailed front blade sight. The frame, cylinder and barrel all show an evenly built up patina. This revolver was manufacture between the late 1850s to early 1860s and shows the serial number 10232. The cylinder and barrel are chambered in .44 percussion. The walnut grips are in fair shape with dents and scratches associated with age and use. The frame is marked "Starrs Patent Jan. 15. 1856" on the right and "Starr Arms Co. New York" on the left. The pistol shows fair condition overall with some damage to the trigger guard and non functional mechanics. Serial Number: 10232. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
