Featured in this lot is this 2015 Sterling Silver and 14k gold, Montana sapphire belt buckle by Whitefish Montana artist, Stephen Isley. This buckle shows a heavy sterling silver frame with inlaid 14k gold adorning the face of the buckle in the form of a river and comprising the rising sun, the outlining rim of the moon in the sky, and six 14k nuggets in the inlaid gold river. The scene is of a Montana mountain range with Montana sapphires cabochons of differing clarity and a single round pink sapphire cabochon shown inlaid at the bottom of the river. There are six round cut sapphires with colors of pink, yellow, and green; two are inlaid in the sky and the other four are inlaid into the river. The buckle is marked on the back of the buckle 'Stephen Isley Whitefish Montana 2015' and 'sterling & 14kt.' Stephan Isely has been crafting jewelry with the Montana sapphires he loves since the 1970's in Whitefish, Montana. The buckle is in pristine condition, with no obvious signs of damage and wonderful craftsmanship. The measurements of the buckle are 1 3/4" x 2 3/4" x 3/4". The collective weight is 66.1g.
