Up for bidding in this lot is a J Stephens Arms Company No. 26 "Crack Shot" .22 Caliber Long Rifle. The stamping on the rifle barrel shows "J. Stephens Arms Company Pat. APR. 22.1913.” The left side of the frame reads “Crackshot – 26” and has a hallmark towards the stock that reads “SVG”. This rifle has a dovetailed rear sight and fixed blade front sight. The straight grain walnut stock and fore grip are in good condition, showing signs of use. The Model 26 Crack Shot was manufactured between 1913 and 1941. The action and trigger operate as intended. No Serial Number. This is a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires NICS background check, or FFL transfer.
